Is this a genuine Suzuki base gasket?

My base gasket arrived today from the USA (I am in the UK). I paid $14 plus postage. Is this the real deal?

Here's the blog entry: My GS1100G Blog

    This is what I got:

I would love to know if I should use it.

    Greetings

Follow-up question on this, which side is "up" (cylinder side)? I bought the same gasket and watched a video of a later GSX engine cylinder install & they said that gasket was marked up. I don't see a marking on this one. I see there is some gray sealant type material on one side of the gasket (look at the whole gasket in the last picture above). Which side goes to the block?

        Thanks.

Does the manual specify which side goes up?

I looked at the GS1000 manual on Basscliff's site and the only place it is mentioned is in the first GS1000 section, and it does not specify. The later models (E-G) don't have any info.

                    Awesome bilingual label............
It had to come from Canada as the Franceuskies would never allow English on a label.
