    You need a whole lot more oil than 2 3/4 quarts. Check your service manual for the oil level, then add another 1/3 of a quart or so for the cooler.

        when i added my cooler
        i started it up
        let it prime the cooler
        added oil to the middle of the sight glass
        started it up
        let it run a few min
        checked it
        added if needed to sight wglass

        drove it a few miles to really get it pumping and all the air out
        and checked it again and adjusted accordingly

        when its cold the sight will be filled due to the cooler draining down
