    Exhaust Header question

I have a 1980 GS 550- E. I have taken the time to turn it into a super nice looking machine. The only exception is the pipes. They look like they went through a war! The only 4- into 1 I seem to find available is a Mac 4-1. My big concern is noise level. I don't want an exceeding loud machine!! has anyone ever used one of these before? How loud are they? It seems to be my only choice as a decent OEM used set seems to be non existant, or wicked expensive!

What is your definition of loud? A pipe like that will be nowhere near as loud as say, someone running an obnoxious straight piped harley. Most street 4-1s are decently quite when just cruising around and when you want to get on it they give a nice satisfying growl.

This looks like a good deal to me even at the full price.
Make him an offer he can't refuse.

MACs aren't loud. They sound fine, if a little fartish.
