New Chain Swinging Arm Clearance Suzuki GS1000

Just done a 530 chain and sprocket conversion on my Suzuki GS1000E 1979 model. Now running a 17 tooth front sprocket and 48 tooth rear, the bike is fitted with a Metmachex swinging arm. The clearance between the swinging arm and chain is close but acceptable, what I require is some kind of swinging arm chain protection slipper, does anybody have any ideas of what I can use to protect the swinging arm, has anybody fitted something similar?

get some acetal sheet from ebay, shape it to fit with hacksaw or jigsaw and sand it smooth and rivet it on, or use good double sided adhesive tape if you dont want to drill your arm.
it will wear out eventually so buy enough to make 2 or 3 strips so you can just replace it when it wears.

250 x 250 you should get at least 8 suitable sized pieces from that. keep you going for a while!
