    Head Bolts

    Hi Guy's

I have a leak around the head gasket but i want to check the oil seals on the front head bolts first before suspecting a head gasket. My question can i simply undo one bolt at a time and then put it back in and re torque. Or does undoing head bolt upset the rest of the head bolts?

    Thanks Richard

You should be ok with that, I'd follow the sequence per your manual when checking though. Assembly lube on your bolts is a good idea as well.
Be sure to re-torque in 30% increments on your wrench. Meaning if your final torque is 90ft lbs
    Go 30, 60, 90.
