    tuning my motor need help

    Ok I'll give as much information as I can. I have a 1980 gs850g it has a stage 3 jet kit from dynojet and the crossover pipe is gone, it also has pod filters on it and a custom exhaust. Cylinder 3 is burning rich. Can someone give me an idea why? on a side note can someone give me an idea how to post pictures because it might give you a better idea on how to diagnose the problem.

    Under what circumstances does #3 look rich? At idle? Half throttle? Full throttle?

      The plug Is black at idle and after runing it down the road for about 5 miles at various speeds. Thanks for the links.

        Usually on that model, it's CV carbs and #2 that runs rich. Second from the left.

        Or are you in a country that still got the VM carbs in 1980?

          I have the cv carbs if it helps it was a wet black not a dry black. Does that mean anything?
