    How or why are your sprocket nuts coming off in the first place?
    1982 GS550M Rebuilt Winter '12 - 550 to 673cc engine conversion.
    1989 Kawasaki ZX-7 Ninja

        Just ran the 18mm die and the thread came out perfect. I was worried the shaft was too hard of metal for the die but I was wrong. Still waiting on the jam nut frm fastenal and ill be all set! Hoping for at least 1 more ride this year...weather permitting.

              I got the die new off ebay...and the jam nut from fastenal. I ended up slowly grindng off 1mm from the shaft down to 18 mm.

              Its all back together and she rides again! Just in time to store for winter lol
