    1100/1168 Head Gasket

    The head gasket that came with the weisco 1168 kit is leaking
    will the OEM head gasket work or do I it need it to be over sized.

      i am in the process of tearing it down right now
      is there a better gasket out there?

        I used the stock MLS one on mine and had no problems. 1980 16v 1100/1166. Bob

          Where and when did you get the kit? The new cometic mls gaskets are OK.

                I hate taking off the cyl head again it only has 400 mi on it. the leak was-en,t bad at first and even seemed like it got better with the re torque but last time i rode it it was starting to make a mess.

                  You did change the o rings on the front 2 centre head bolts right?

                        didnt even know APE had hi Po studs when the machine work was done.
