Are engine parts interchangeable for my "80 gs750L with a '82 gs750e

I have a 1980 Gs750L that I am working on, and I have an opportunity to buy a 1982 gs750E as a parts bike for 300 bucks. I am just wondering if the engine parts are interchangeable such as the valves as they are both 750CC TSCC engines. The parts bike is in good shape with a title, the only downside is the owner said the cams are "burn't up in the head". Any help would be great, Thanks!

Yes, engine parts and several other items will interchange, but there will be many items that won't.
