1977 GS 750 Clutch Spring Specs?

Anybody know what the specs are for a '77 GS 750? I tried to order new springs online and they only sent me 4. When I mentioned this, they sent me another 2 but they are a different size. The store offered to replace the springs but they don't know the specs, just part numbers. I haven't pulled the old ones out of the bike yet to compare and don't really have a good work space at the moment to do it.

Clutch spring freeplay length should be in your factory service manual. At least it is in the 850 and 1000 manuals I have access too at the moment.

I suspect someone will come along, crack open their manual, and provide you the information. Or you can just do it for yourself.

Where did you order the springs from? A Suzuki dealer will have the correct part numbers, access to the parts breakdowns, and the quantity needed for the bike. (Although you often get better prices ordering from an online OEM dealer vs walking into your local shop.)

Also, I've heard that aftermarket clutch springs tend to be much stiffer than OEM, resulting in a clutch lever that's harder to pull.
