      A little touchy are we? Look, pardon us for caring about your bike. When you do get around to checking your valves, I hope you wont be needing any further advice.

          Actually, it's only the 450 and 650 that have that style caps. All the other bikes with 2 valves per cylinder have screws that are readily visible and accessible.

            Yes, if I recall my old 550L had 2 phillips-head screws on the outside face of the caps. These are a PITA.
