    82 GS650Gl Head Nuts

Hello I'm putting the head back on my rebuild and the manual says that its 19ft/lb for 10mm nuts but my head nuts are 14mm nuts and I'm postive they are the right nuts does anyone know if that torque spec is correct?

    Thanks,
    Taylor

They are referring to the thread size not the hex size.

The 10mm nut description is for the size of the stud that the nut goes on, as well as the internal threads of the nut. The 14 mm you refer to is just the size of the external hex of the nut, i.e. the size of the wrench you're using. So, the 19ft/lbs is correct.
