The 850 doesn't use a clutch push rod.Ed

clutch push rod
Ok, my mistake. It is the round seal around the clutch rod/shaft that is vertical coming out of the cover.

After you remove the cover, the shaft/bearing/seal can be removed by tapping on the shaft up from the bottom using a hammer and drift, thus driving the parts out the top. You might be able to remove the seal as it sits by shooting a couple of sheet metal screws into it and then pulling it straight up. Wouldn't hurt to try this, just make sure you don't shoot the screws in too deep otherwise the bearing will be damaged.Ed
