i am putting my gs 850 motor back together and realized i am missing the 4 cyl. orings. that go on the bottom of the cyl. 09280-70001
should i order some or take a chance?

I have removed them from every engine I have taken apart & NEVER had an issue not running them. Ray.Comment

Keeps oil from wicking in the crack between the liner and the cylinder casting. Think the biggest risk is a little oil weapage that could come though porosity in the casting.Ed

I'm with Ray. Even after putting bigger sleeves in stock blocks I have never seen one leak. Kawasaki KZ motors didn't even have them.Comment
