    Clutch doesn't disengage

I had my bike on the centerstand to oil the chain and put it into first gear to get the tire/chain to rotate. Before I even let off the clutch the wheel was already spinning. Anyone else have this issue before? Wondering if it's just a cable issue or something sticky in the clutch.

    Thanks.

the oil in the engine/trans will spin the rear tire at any time on the stand.....if the bike rides/runs fine. then:

      Nope, it's not an issue.

The only issue is you putting the bike in gear and oiling your chain......

God I hope you still have all your fingers......

to clean and oil a chain, you DON"T need the bike on and running and in gear.....

          it's a real quick way of losing a finger..........it won't even take a second......

please turn off the engine, put the bike in neutral, and spin the tire by hand......

          .

Even spinning it by hand has removed fingers.
