On my bike, very easy. Pull the pipes, take the bolts off, and the pan drops right down.

      Hi,

No, there is no need to put engine out.
You need to dismount exhaust, then you have enought space.
After removing exhaust, remove thirteen M6 bolts that are keeping oil pan, if it's not falling down tapp it gently with plastic/rubber hammer.

Be carefull while unbolting exhaust to not broke screws if they are blocked.

When putting everything back I allways put cooper grease on bolts to prevent blocking, specialy for exhaust bolts and other stuff where it,s possibility of rust or heat.

          Yes it is.
I was also little afraid because, there is nothing written about it in manual that I have, but it's realy simple.

If you will use torque wrench tight both screws on 10 Nm (exhaust and oil pan).
