          ok i measured 28mm id. of the correct puller.
          so that means you need larger than 28mm.
          the od of the rotor threads measure about 30mm.
          there has been MANY people buy the wrong puller because of bad info online/venders bad info or not knowing what you have crank shaft wise.
          i am offering the measurement's i have stated but i am NOT stating the actual thread size because i don't know it...hahahhahahha

            motion pro should really have an accurate application sheet on pullers.
            i have read over the years that this isn't the case.
            even dealerships will sell you the wrong puller.
            dare me to pull an OEM manual out...hehe

                    I ordered one from these guys along with some odd and ends to get the free shipping. I copied and pasted the part number and it came up on their list. We'll see. Speedsupplies.com

                        Well, I finally got the correct puller (more later) and have worked up quite a sweat. I followed the directions of 2 sources. I greased the puller and tightened it on the flywheel, greased the pusher bolt and tightened it to 50 lb/ft. Gave it several (several) stout whacks with a dead blow and.....zilch. I smacked it with a 2 pounder a couple times and deformed the head of the bolt. I pulled the bolt and reshaped it with a dremel.
                        I have propane and Mapp gas touches but was cautioned with regards to the magnet.
                        Tips?

                          Keep at it but just make sure you don't hit the rotor itself or the magnets will break (sorry but I did it so I know all too well )

                          It took quite awhile to get mine off a few years ago but that was the advice given; also could try some heat to help it off.

                              put a large crescent wrench on the puller flats...get a helper.
                              an impact is the ticket...the hammering action.
                              impact then whack with hammer...back and forth..over and over and it should pop.
                              the big taper cranks are an animal for sure.
