Clutch not letting me change gear!?

    Also, Suzuki and Haynes say to move your handle bar clutch adjuster ALL the way in. Yours is quite far from that.
    1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

    2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

      in your case you are not getting the rack engaged into the cover.
      look at how it works with the cover removed and when you install the cover have a helper rotate the arm to where it pulls the cover on...you should be able to pull the cover on or push it off depending on which way you move the cable arm.

        Great I did that, all sorted...I was being a total div but I moved the swing arm until the play was gone adjusted the cable and all went great! Thank you
