I jacked up the threads to a spark plug :( and they fell into the engine.

I was putting in a spark plug and managed to jack up the threads. I can see some of the shavings fell into to the engine so Im assuming at least the head in going to have to come off and the shavings removed at the threads retapped?

A few odd aluminum chips won't hurt the engine any. A nozzle on a vacuum should allow you do draw them back out anyway. I'd get a thread chaser and clean up the threads first though.

I'd pull the other spark plugs and spin the engine over on the starter. Should blow out whatever in there. The vacuum is a good idea to try also.

              What bike do you have?

Yeah, some of them are different.

I think a location and a bike mentioned in a signature should be MANDATORY before the first post.
