Air Leak???

I have adjusted the valves, new intake boots and o-rings, sealed air box, air box boots are not that old and the exhaust has gaskets. Problem is I still have a hanging throttle. Suggestions??

Also carbs have been sync'd

Is the throttle cable hanging? Is it cleaned and lubed properly?

As far as I can tell cable is not hanging. Throttle snaps closed when released.

Is the bike all stock? if so, that means the jets and pilots and needle are all at the stock settings? what are your mixture screws set at? have you ridden the bike yet? if so what do the plugs look like?

Has aftermarket 4 into 2 exhaust
Re-jetted carbs for exhaust
Screws are at 2 1/4, in from 2 1/2 (was running a minute rich)
Yes i'm riding it. 80 miles a day
Plugs were looked at a day ago and were fine.

I believe you may be right. But I think I just need to reroute my cable. But just in case, how do you grease the cable?

Buy a cable oiler, or do it the old way revolve the cable and add some thin oil etc down the inner cable takes a little longer this way, but does the job.
