clutch seal leaking
I am noticing a few drops on the floor every night after a ride. seems to be coming from the seal on the crank case around the clutch armature. How difficult are these to replace? Any recommend a vendor as my internet searches didnt leave me with much confidence.-Mark

My GS1100 G was leaking from there. I ordered the seals (got two because the shifter shaft seal is the same one) from Bikebandit for $4.77 each. It's fairly simple. Drain oil. Remove the cover. The vertical shaft should be removed. I don't remember how I removed it but if you look at it from behind the cover it is easy to figure out. Pull the old seal out with a small flat screwdriver. Oil the new seal (never install a dry seal) and use a similar diameter socket to gently tap the new one into place. Put everything back together. If your old cover gasket is in questionable condition then replace it too.
