    Is this valve still good?

Will the gouge affect it's integrity?

I'd run it, except maybe not on an uber high RPM performance engine.

As long as that gouge is not in the valve stem seal wipe area it shouldn't hurt anything. I'd make sure there are no burrs that can damage the valve stem seal during assembly too.

Rev limiter on a GS? Red line?

          What a waste.

I removed the burr ( sharp edge ) using a round screw driver shaft.

The gouge is just above the stem seal wipe area. The seal will squeegee oil out of the gouge and into the guid
Guess I need a new valve.
Who has a new/used good condition intake valve?

Why no stock GS make power all the way to redline.

C&C clean the stems with some 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper.
