    clutch spring ??

ok guys, was looking to get new clutch springs for a 79-1000e and a 82 1100g , after looking at few places it seams like there are few different part #s and about .40 difference in price , am I looking at it right ? looks like 79 1000 is same as one of the # for 82/83 1100, and the 1100g same as the other # , SO they all take the same springs ??
1, what is the difference in them

2, witch ones to go with ,one costing more , or less

Are you looking at stock springs or after market? Stock springs are usually cheaper and of good quality, EBC HD springs are a good buy, they are usually 12-15% stiffer then stock though not bad, Barnett HD springs not sure the cost on them, though they are really stiff springs, need a good grip for them.

In my rebuild I had unkowningly had the Barnett's I had bought from a friend, he didn't tell what they were at the time lol. I replaced them with the EBCs springs and man what a difference, lots easier to engage the clutch now.

Umm no not really. Just depends how stiff you want your clutch.
