    Oil drip from breaker cover?

I've got a slight drip from the breaker cover. I've just put a new gasket in and I'm still getting a drip from there.

    Any suggestions?

There is no oil that should be coming from the ignition cover. If there is its the crank main seal starting to leak. Oil can come out of the stator cover as it is oil bathed for cooling.

Make sure you haven't slightly overfilled the engine with oil . My '79 1000 does that .

      Cheers , Simon .

Probably a bad crank oil seal. I just did this, it ended up being pretty easy and fixed the leak. Here's the thread: http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...ver&highlight=
