    1980 16 valve GS1100 L Want 2nd oversize piston kit

    Does anyone know where I can get new GS1100 2nd oversize piston kit for less than $300? I know with CB750s there are alot of options for 1st or 2nd oversize. Any help would be appreciated.

    If you send a PM to RapidRay or Blowerbike, they can fill you in on everything you might want to know about going oversize on 16 valve GS1100 engines. Might even be able to help you out with what you want.

      For 300 or less all you will get is USED. I have 1170 used sets. They are 3mm over & will go into a bored stock 1100 block.

        Ebay is your friend. http://www.ebay.com/itm/191341570736...84.m1436.l2649 These look like they have more dome than 10:1?

          Thanks Teamdar! That looks pretty good. Can I use 10.5 for street?

            Yes, if it is truly 10.5:1. The piston domes look a little big to be that low of compression.

              not a flat top...plus it's o-ringed for a reason.
              far from 10-1 IMO.

                Will stock 1150 pistons work with a rebore in 1100 jugs? What is the wrist pins for 1100 and 1150? I want options in case I have to rebore.

                  1100=18mm
                  1150=20mm

                    1100 jugs can go 72+3mm max, 1150 is 74mm so a 1100 jugs will fit a stock 1150 bottom end (20mm pins) if you want that option.

                    1150 jugs can go 74+3mm
