How did you get them out? I tried heating the aluminum using a vise on the studs and rotating the case and still nothing

I put two or three nuts on each stud so the nuts couldn't turn off the stud and turned each stud out with a wrench.

If you double nut them the threads on the end of the stud can easily get damaged.
The proper way to remove the studs is by using a stud puller. I got one from Harbor Freight and it worked okay. It caused some gouges in the metal but that didn't seem to hurt anything.Ed

I know what you are thinking, but don't heat the aluminum the stud won't loosen.
you have to heat the stud, you will need oxy-acetylene, or oxy-propane, The studs will have to be changed after you get them that hot. (until they start to turn red) let them cool before taking them out, you can quench them if you like, but it doesn't really matter. they will spin right out after temperature cycling.GSX1300R NT650 XV535
