Need help with gsxr
OK I normally would ask this here, but I just got my FIRST bike ever back. This is great, but the guy that had it tore the motor down to replace the head gasket. Turns out he couldn't put it back together. So I got it for cheap. Can some one here PLEASE point me in the direction of a repair manual that I can pull up on my computer. I just need things like torque specs and tightening order for the head. I went over the motor and I can assemble it but I will need these specs. PLease some one help me get this bike back together. I am going to order a manual when I get the money. Just wanting to get it back together asap. Oh and I check the gsxr forum and I couldn't find anything there.Tags: None

Sorry, I only have the oil cooled GSXR engine manual.
Bolt torque is standard by size, I would just have a look another manual for a similar bike.
Torquing down a head is always the same for all engines, go from the center outward, always go from one bolt to it's opposite.
A modern valve cover with a neoprene gasket should be torqued lightly.1982 GS1100G- road bike

I found the torque specs for the head and I was going to go with center out on bolts and found a diagram. I just wanted to be sure. Thanks bill
