Firstly let me say it was some what of a relief finding this site i really do hope that someone out there can help me ? I am a newbie here so please be gentle with me...lol.<br>
I would like to find out some info about my custom built 1979 GS850G trike that i am riding at the moment if at all possible ?...Anyway here goes i have been told/heard and read online that it is possible to transplant a GS1000G top end straight onto the GS850G bottom end is this true ? as some say yes and some say no....which is right as its a little confusing and i dont know which to believe as to be totally honest with you this is the first time i have ever owned a GS in my 30yrs+ of riding bikes/trikes so i have no idea at all. <br>
I would also welcome any tuning tips for the GS (even big bore kits if you can still get them ?)...i have all ready re-jetted the carbs myself as when i bought it i had the plugs out and she was running lean this was due to the fact the guy who built her didnt do any sort of engine work on her apart from shove filters on her and go too the expense of having a one off 4 into 1 under seat exhaust system built which made me laugh really as he had spent money on her by putting a GSXR11 front end in that was widened via billet and spacers (which handles really well actually) he had also built the back end (trike conversion) from scratch even going to the trouble of routing all the wiring inside the mudguard stanchions that have inbuilt led brake/indicators lights. <br>
Anyway i will leave it at that and sit here with my fingers crossed hoping that someone somewhere out there can help or at least guide me towards solving what i have asked.<br>
