Help. 1981 gs750l
As I wrote I have a 1981 gs 750l. My question is I'm starting the valves tomorrow morning but cannot find my manual. What deeper guages do I need to accomplish this. Please help. Google let me downTags: None

According to my manual all TSCC engines(16 valve) call for .09-.13 mm or.004-.005" cold. You could get your manual from bikecliffs web page, but the links don't seem to be working right now.Last edited by gsrick; 10-17-2015, 09:39 PM.:cool:GSRick

Everything went well . just a side question. Should the timing chain have any slack in it. How should I know if it's worn out

1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980
2015 CAN AM RTS
Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
