motor install advice needed...badly

    Thanks all. It's in, with zero frame scratches. I had to add oil to the HF lift pump. Other than the pump not working it was smooth as silk.
    1981 GS 1100e turbo, 83 motor, turbo pistons, new head, new turbo, backed and welded clutch basket, Dyna S ignition, cbr 929 front end, gsxr 750 rear end with 190 tire, all carbon fiber covered bodywork.

      nice! based on the other posts I'm going to do my next one using boards too. and something covering the frame rails to avoid the scratches.

        Great people here. I can't thank you guys enough. It literally took longer to put the jack together than to put the engine in. It took maybe 5 minutes to get the engine from sitting on the floor to resting in the bike. Now if I can just remember where I put the mounting hardware, lol.
