Have you measured the friction plates that were on the bike to see if they need replaced?

Yes I did measure my friction plates they were under spec ,so I bought new friction and metal plates. I got a new cushion (rubber plug) #31 for the back of the basket how do you change that any tricks to it or just pull old one out put new one in ? in the picture Dorkburger put up I have the washer with the oil groove and the regular washer these go in front of the big needle bearing and spacer in the primary basket right ? the washer with oil grove would be #8 on diagram right? They don't show the regular washer on diagram is this what is considered a shim? When I took mine apart the regular washer (shim) was on first then the washer with the oil groove is this right? How do you know if the inside basket is shimmed right? Thanks

They were Londonboard's pics. The fellow does some fine documenting.

I did a few years ago. Let me think about it......it may be documented on the BikeCliff web site.
