    Thank you, I'll have to look into that more. It's something that I'd really like to have done, and will hopefully fix the problem.

          Turns out one of the three bolts that hold the starter clutch and flywheel together had sheared off again, thus making the rattling. All is good again, until next week when it decides to break again. Thanks for all the advice and help everyone! Much appreciated!

            Is your starter kicking back? Sounds like a hammer to the side of the cases. The rc are options to reduce the probability like improving charging and headlight cutout.
