    Oem Suzuki MLS head gasket

I am looking for a definitive answer to the question when you use the above gasket do you still use the oblong oring for the cam tunnel gasket, I have asked the dealer (Robinsons foundry) and the answer as below.

As far as we are aware you can use this gasket without the centre o-ring but we do not have any data from Suzuki advising us about this

If you mean the o-ring that sits in the recess on the barrel that goes around the cam chain tunnel then thats a big fat yes. And WTH is a OEM MLS gasket? That o-ring i presume you mean #8 .... http://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/a/s.../cylinder-head

My understanding is like Robinson's; the rectangular O-ring around the cam tunnel is eliminated when using the MLS gasket.

not sure what you mean by "WTH is a Suzuki Oem MLS Gasket"? ( unless it's "what the hell") is so then it's an
original equiptment manufacturer = Oem. MLS = multi layered steel gasket.

this gasket is an Suzuki updated one from the original.
