I just saw alot of shiny, bare steel on the gasket and got to wondering what's normal and what's bad as far as old head gaskets. It was just beginning to lose coolant. I see a large non black area in front of number 3. I'm guessing that's where to coolant was getting in. It also had 100,150,100,150 psi, which is odd. I expected the low readings would be in adjacent holes. It ran great?
Check all the block and head surfaces for flat anyway. I'd probably look at dropping the static compression a bit too as i've never heard of an owner wanting to lower the boost....
I don't know what's available in the way of better head gaskets either - worth asking on a busa forum ?

I have the same probs with pics too. My cheap camera has an auto flash which you can't turn off so you've got to make sure it's not needed by taking the pic in bright light - Then ensuring as has been said, that the background works for the colour of the item....
