Clutch basket noise and low rpm shudder, 85% reduced. 82 GS 550

Hi all, did some additional research on this valuable site and found that outer basket play is caused by the angle cut gears side load on acceleration and deceleration and create outer basket slop, hence clutch basket shudder at idle. Here's what I did, I surface ground .012 off of the big spacer inside the needle bearing ( on the face without the groove ) Reassembled and can now barely detect any play in the outer basket when grabbing and trying to move it. Test rode and clutch noise at idle reduced by at least 85%.
