Original chain is endless?
Taking the 1260 apart to fit the Bandit swingarm and forks (project thread later) and could not find a master link on the chain. I went so far as to clean it and look for a different brand link, a hollow riveted link, anything unusual but I swear this chain was continuous from the factory. It is a low mileage but well abused bike, it may be original. Except it is an RK 630 chain, I thought OEM was DID. There is a Sunstar sprocket on the front so that is not OEM. PO worked in several performance bike shops, might they have a tool that rivets the chain exactly like factory? Doesn't really matter, just trying to sort out the history.sigpic
