I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

i had the same problem with rotella once. for some reason i doesn't read well cold, and not all of it comes out in a oil change. if you worm it up first i had better luck. It was so bad during a change once i had to bump the starter several times to get it all out.

I just read these posts and saying to myself Really? Yes cold oil is going to be a bit harder to read full, once you get the bike up on the center stand or even level off the side stand, it is going to take the cold oil a few seconds to reach it level point. Warm oil well find its level quicker. Yes cold oil is harder to drain. That is why you warm the motor up before an oil change. Hot/warm oil flows faster drains better. The type of oil has no effect on volume, like it was stated volume is volume. a 10w-30 is gonna have the same fluid volume as a 20w-50.
