Does crankcase ventilation effect carb vaccum? I put on pod filters and stepped up the jets. I had the original crankcase short vent tube just hanging under the fuel tank. I took it for a ride and lots of fumes coming up at stop signs. I ran a long crankcase vent tube back to the rear swing arm and zip tied it. The bike now runs out of fuel riding into the wind, its not getting enough to the float bowls. I took the long crankcase vent tube back off and it runs normal now but the fume issue is back. What is my fix?

Do you still have the vent tubes on the carbs?
Some will recommend removing them, but I have also seen them routed up, under the seat into relatively calm air.
They are the atmospheric reference for the float bowls, so if they are in turbulent air, the carbs don't know how much fuel to mix.
