    1983-86 GS550ES Cylinder head gasket

I have finally narrowed my oil leak to the head gasket on my 1984 GS550ES. I am having trouble locating a head gasket for my bike.
Tons of parts for older 550's but slim on the ES's.

    Help. Thanks Magnafique

    Terms get confused at times.

Are you asking about the head gasket:

    or the valve cover gasket?

No that is the base gasket. I need the head gasket that fits between the cylinder head and cylinders before the base gasket. Thanks

Best to change the base gasket and valve stem seals at same time. Also, any O-rings in the top end.

If you pull the head off, change the base gasket at the same time.
