GSX750ES engine meets double cradle chassis

After 4 years of painstaking nuts and bolts restoration my engine and chassis are ready for a lifelong commitment.
I believe that mounting such a heavy 4 pistons engine on a double cradle chassis can be a nightmare.
How is it done ? Any special methods or tips ?

    1) In this drawing, Plates #2,5,7,8.... Which should be installed prior to engine mounting ?

    2) In this drawing, Nut #34 should be installed prior to engine mounting ?

The manual requires to use a new #34 nut for every engine installation (see attached snapshot from the manual) ? Is this right ?

I've always found it easiest to lay the engine on its side and lower the frame over it for installation.

Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )

      Past:
      VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....

+1 if it is still a frame only set up. If it is already a roller you can slide the engine into the frame using a board. BTW, don't mount any of the brackets until the engine is in. pad the frame up well to prevent scratches. These videos may help in that regard.

Pad the frame with rags or newspaper, bribe some mates with a few cans of beer to help you. Makes it so much easier when two of you shuffle it in and the other guy is there ready to guide you and insert the mounting bolts. Get the bottom rear bolt in first then you can jiggle it about to get the rest of the plates and bolts to line up.

3 people, 1 on each side, 1 sitting on the bike straddling it, chest near the back bone of frame. I always took the valve cover off for more clearance. motor on a floor jack. With plenty of help it goes right in. Beer n pizza for all.

BTW - if this motor is going back into an ES frame then the RHS down tube unbolts. Therefore you can put the engine on a trolley jack and wheel it in underneath the chassis from the RHS.

The wedding went perfect! Other than having to remove one of the coils and bit the hell out of the air box... not a single scratch to metal parts!
                  Thanks again for the tips.
