I should probably start another stash box. The KLR uses the same shims as the KZ.

Some 70s KZs also use 13MM shims. My 76 KZ650B1 uses 13s.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Me? Yes, fully torqued with the engine near fully assembled. My issue was a shim that was marked with one measurement, but way off when checked.
