I've used easy off oven cleaner. It's really harsh but it works.

Just a quick update!

I have settled in to my new home and workplace, bike filling the basement like I've always dreamed!

AND I NEED AN EXHAUST VALVE.

Cleaning them up getting ready to lap them and..... Exhaust valve 2 is toasted, cracked and all.... Can anyone help me?? I will post pics later

They're still available from Suzuki. About $60, IIRC.

I did see them available, thanks! Steve is saving my riding season for a better price lol. Hoping to paint the engine next week (If the spring heat makes an appearance lol)
