    Excessive oil in valve area?

    Hi all,
Im new to the forum, i recently been working on a 1981 gs550l. Got it running really well, took it for a short ride and then i heard some unusal ticking coming from the valve area. I took the valve cover off and found that the previous owner had probably tightened one of the cam caps too tight. Which stripped three holes in the head, and broke one bolt off in the head. Anyhow i fixed the damage and fired it back up and seems to be running fine. My problem is this i went to go to adjust my valves after the fix and im not really sure if there should be this much oil in the valve area.20180611_185759.jpg
thanks for any help you can give.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
