    Is there enough pin sticking out that it can be riveted? Ive never tried it but it looks like it might be possible.

          You can just use safety wire instead of the clip as well, but this has worked for me over the years.

              On my ride home today I spotted a broken motorcycle chain on the side of the carpool lane where the motorcycles frequent. Found a truck with a motorcycle in the bed about 10 miles down the road from the broken chain.
              Whoever is stealing these clips has to be stopped.
