    Help identifying gs 1100e engine

Hi so I bought some bikes to part out and all were 82 GS1100E. One bike has a engine that is slightly different. There are no numbers stamped in the engine and it looks like there never were any. Idk if it’s some kind of replacement. The thing that caught me off guard was there is no provision for a oil pressure switch on the bike. It just looked odd to me. Also the head looks the same but is missing a fin on it. Is this a katana engine or something? Also there is usually a oil galley that runs along the back of the cylinder with a plug in it but there is none on this engine. Anyone know what this is?

80-82 GS750. Look on the front of the cylinders for the displacement badge.
