Knocking sound after valve clearance. Vid
this morning I adjusted the valve clearance, setting it as manual to 0.10: I state that I have a GS1150. I also removed the chain tensioner to clean it. Obviously all the procedures done with the crankshaft at the right T point. When I reassembled everything, this annoying ticking occurs, I don't understand if it depends on the chain tensioner or on the valves.

firstly, sounds like a loose tappet. yes, it's annoying if it's just one valve that's loose...you could try again.
It's not the cam-chain tensioner..surely you weren't turning the motor backwards when you were setting valve clearances...?
even then, you wouldn't get too far wrong setting valves unless you are fiddling with the tensioner. It's more-or-less held in place by its "self-tensioning" design

I'm sure I didn't rotate the engine back. I put the letter T in the right place and proceeded to adjust the valve game (on my GS1150 there are no shims but arm rocker). After adjusting the game I removed the chain tensioner (without moving the engine), cleaned and changed the gasket, then I reassembled everything. I have something wrong in the installation of the chain tensioner?

But I really don't think reinstalling the tensioner is going to make a single valve tap. Or any valve, really.
And, your engine sounds very good! I would say just to double-check the clearances. As you know, tightening the lock nuts while holding the adjuster stem is tricky.
Also, when you do adjust the valves, make sure the arms with the adjusters are loose (the valve is closed then) and lift them up as much as they will go with your fingers before sliding the feeler gauge in......

Do I have to buy the whole new piece or can I fix the thread?
or a machinist could try to fix it. If I were fixing it myself, it'd need drilling out to a larger size and replacing with different adjuster stem. I would need sharp new, taps and dies to suit...I might have to make the stem from scratch...Money, time, and, it'd take me a long while to stop listening for my fix to come undone. Every time I adjusted valves thereafter, I would need a different wrench to undo the locknut on my home-made adjuster....
These things add up versus the simple joy of the correct replacement.

You can still get these from Suzuki (at least we can in the UK).
I think early Bandit or GSXR rockers are a straight swap ( you might have to grind the little bump off ) but someone on here will know for sure.
Failing that, I could send you a used one for the cost of postage to Milano.Richard
