So here's the question. Can I match up a bolt from Fastenal, or should I just order up OEM? It would be a no-brainer if I had a need for anything else, but I hate to pay shipping for a bolt that costs $1.19.

cam cap bolt
Replaced my head and base gaskets today due to a leak at the cam chain tunnel. All went well with the exception of a snapped cam cap bolt. Extraction of the busted off end went perfectly with a left handed drill bit. Barely had to drill into the bolt before the bit grabbed and it spun right out.

The cam cap bolts have a 9 on them which is sort of like SAE grade 8 (strong and hard.) I've got a bunch of them you can have for shipping only problem is we are on opposite coasts so you would have to wait.Ed
