    Clutch order

    on my 82 gs1100e the basket has a steel plate in it that held in with piano wire. So what gose in next another steel plate or a clutch disk.i see a steel plate first. So can some let me know the order of installation of the clutches and steel plates

    Don't see any piano wire in the schematic.

        Once again i stand corrected.
        I knew Yamaha made pianos but was not aware Suzuki was in the business.
        Perhaps it's a g-string?

          yes the next plate to go on next to the plate held in by piano wire will be a friction plate then steel then friction then steel and so on
          The last one being friction followed by #11
          The big guy up there rides a Suzuki (this I know)
