How long has the bike sat? I was expecting my clutch to drag after sitting for 5 years, but no troubles. It happily clicked into gear & motored me down the road on it's first trip 'round the block in a long while.
After correctly adjusting the clutch cable as mentioned above, get the bike moving in gear, rolling down the road. Pull in the clutch & gradually come to a stop. You are trying to free stuck drive from driven clutch plates from each other who have become quite friendly over time.
Good luck.Paul

What bike and what maintenance has been done to it? Have you correctly adjusted the cable as mentioned and is your oil level correct?Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

Yup, the only clue is that it's a bike, and at least it runs.
Please give us our second clue.
