    Busa cans on a GS?

I have heard of people putting different cans from sport bikes on their GS's. Does anyone have a pic of what this looks like? I was given 2 stock cans off a 2004 Busa and was thinking of putting them on my GS but im not sure how to. The Busa cans are bolted on to the exhaust and i dont know exactly how to install them. Pics PLEASE!!

This is the can off of an R1. Was an easy fix.

Did you just weld it on?

The R1 can came with the mid pipe attached. I just bought some exhoust reducers from AutoZone to slip it together. It's a tight fit, and the hanger holds it in place. Are the Busa's slip ons or flanged? A muffler shop will make up a midpipe for you if you need it.

This is exactly what I wish to do with my bike.
The sportbike exhausts are so much smoother and quieter than
          my nassty noisy MAC exhaust.

          Thanks

Hmm.. Like the R1 can and marzzhochi springs. I have a GSX1000 can and it looks pretty much the same. I just used a common or garden exhaust u clamp to hold mine on with some easy fix brackets that I want to replace with something neater.

Sticking the busa cans on should be a walk in the park. If you have trouble take the lot down to your local race/muffler shop and they should be able to fabricate you a nice job.

For example I had the whole system (one off) for my toyota van made from 2/1/2 tubing with full radius bends and it cost me about $100 for parts and labour. I figure that in the states you should pay about the same or less to have the thing made up for you on your bike. All you have to do is get inventive about bracketry really..

This is the can and midpipe from a Gen. II Bandit. It is very quiet and flows alot more than stock. It is pretty big though so I painted it black to minimize the apparent size.

Neat. Why didnt I think of mounting from there instead of the shock top? Going to do some mods, methinks.....

I hope someone here can jump on this. If you have your 4 into one already, here's the pipe and can for you. Shipping is steep, but I'd whine to the seller about it. I'd buy it myself, but I'm happy with my setup.
